The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Window Solar Screen: $2 per sq. ft.
Duct Leak Repair: 50% of cost, up to $200
AC/Heat Pump: $400 - $600
Cool Roof: $0.14/sq ft
Solar Attic Fan: 25% of the cost, up to $200
Maximum Incentive:Insulation: $375
Cool Roof: $375
Window Solar Screen: $375
Installation Requirements:Installation must occur by 9/30 of the program year
All installations must be performed by a licensed professional contractor

Summary:

New Smyrna Beach offers residential customers incentives for improving the energy efficiency of eligible homes. Eligible measures include insulation upgrades, window solar screens, duct repairs, cool roof products, air conditioners, heat pumps and solar attic fans. Customers must be on an electric rate plan in the New Smyrna Beach service area. Rebates will be issued in the form of a credit on the customer's utility bill.
