The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Amount:Ballast and Lamp Lighting Upgrade: $0.10/watt saved
Lamp Only Lighting Upgrade: $0.025/watt saved
AC/Heat Pump: $100
Window Film: $0.50/sq. ft.
Chiller: Up to $100/kW
Maximum Incentive:Lamp Only Lighting Upgrade: $100
Window Film: $100
Equipment Requirements:AC/Heat Pump: New system must be at least SEER 14; see web site for further details
Installation Requirements:Lighting Upgrades: Must save a minimum of 1000 watts; customer must have an on-site inspection scheduled with FPU prior to installation

Summary:

Florida Public Utilities offers the Energy for Life Conservation program to commercial electric customers to save energy in facilities.  Rebates are available for lighting, chiller, heat pump, air conditioning, and window film applications. Lighting and chiller rebates vary based upon the amount of energy saved through the equipment upgrade. All program equipment must be met in order to qualify for rebates.
