Equipment Requirements:	Central Air Conditioners: SEER 15 or greater, HSPF 8.2 or greater Central Air Conditioners: Must be 5 tons or smaller systems and ENERGY STAR qualified. Heat Pump Water Heater: EF 2.0 or better Insulation: R-19 in the attic or R-11 under raised flooring Windows: Energy Star, U-Factor .60 or less, SHGC .27 or less Window Tint: Shading Coefficient of .5 or less
Installation Requirements:	All work must be done by a Florida state licensed Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Ventilation (HARV) or mechanical contractor that is a GRU partnering Contractor.

Summary:

Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) offers an incentive to business customers for upgrading to energy efficient equipment at eligible facilities. Incentives are available for ductwork, insulation, air conditioning systems, natural gas heating systems, refrigerator recycling and custom measures. Rental property owners also qualify for a number of rebates offered through this program that would otherwise apply specifically to residential customers.
