Equipment Requirements:	All appliances must be EnergyStar rated and must be replacement appliances Applicant must provide proof of disposal of old appliance. For refrigerators and freezers, must provide proof of proper refrigerant disposal.

Summary:

San Miguel Power Association (SMPA) offers a variety of rebates to customers for the purchase and installation of energy efficient equipment and appliances. Both residential and commercial customers are eligible to participate in this program. Eligible equipment includes geothermal heat pumps, central air conditioners, air source heat pumps, water heaters, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dishwashers, electric motors, lighting measures, and weatherization measures. All purchased appliances must be EnergyStar rated in order to qualify. To participate, fill out the Energy Efficiency Credit Application within 180 days of the installation and provide proof of purchase for specified equipment. Rebates will be dispensed to customers through a one-time check. Customers may contact the nearest district SMPA office or visit the web site listed above for more information on this program.
