The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Xcel Energy (Electric) - Commercial Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs

Xcel Energy offers Electric Business Program incentives for electric customers on a Colorado commercial rate. Incentives are available for a wide range of energy efficiency technologies. Please call the Xcel Business Solutions Center at 1-855-839-8862 to verify eligibility and for special limited time incentives which may be in place.

Programs are listed in one of three categories:

  • Studies and audit-based incentives:
    • provide you with an understanding of how your facility or unique systems use energy and identifies rebate opportunities.
    • Programs range from free online energy assessments to on-site energy audits and in-depth, segment specific engineering studies.
    • In most cases, Xcel Energy covers up to 75% of cost of the study.
    • Preapproval is required.
  • Prescriptive rebate programs:
    • Offer a set rebate amount and are based on defined equipment and efficiency qualifications as listed on each program(s) application.
    • Preapproval is not required.
  • Custom rebate programs:
    • Available for energy-saving equipment purchases that aren’t covered under our Prescriptive programs.
    • Preapproval is required before any equipment is purchased or installed.
