Economic Development/Business Retention Incentive Rate: 15%/month-5%/month
Efficient Exit Sign Program: 50% of the installed cost or $30 per fixture
Heat Pump Incentives: variable by heat pump size and efficiency rating
Industrial Process Improvement: Based on the project cost and water savings
SmarTimer: $12 per activated valve plus an additional $630 per acre
Tree Power Program: free shade trees
Thermal Energy Storage Incentive:Up to $21,000 for shifting peak energy to evening hours
Save Water – Save a Buck Rebate Program: rebate varies by measure
Other measures - $200/kW of reduced demand or $0.075 per annualized kWh saved

Permit Fee Waiver for Energy-Efficiency Program: Anaheim business customers who retrofit their inefficient equipment with approved energy-efficient equipment up to a maximum of $5,000 per customer and waive permit fees.

Summary:
Anaheim Public Utilities (APU) offers several Business Efficiency Incentives Programs to commercial facilities interested in energy efficiency. Eligible businesses undergo a feasibility study that includes a demand and energy-impact assessment and examines any potential energy-efficient upgrades as well as a cost analysis. Note that APU will cover the cost of feasibility studies up to a maximum of $15,000 per project.
