The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Thank you for your continued support and patience during this transition. We hope you are as excited for December as we are!

Refrigerators: $35
Refrigerator Recycling: $35
Clothes Washers: $35
Sun Screens: $1.00/square foot
Whole House Fans: $75
Solar Attic Fan: $100
Radiant Barrier: $0.10/square foot
Shade Tree: $20 each (3 max)
Equipment Requirements:Appliances must be ENERGY STAR rated
Sun Screens must block at least 80% of the sun’s heat

Turlock Irrigation District (TID) offers a residential rebate program for customers who install energy-efficient equipment in eligible homes. Eligible equipment includes

  • Energy Star Refrigerators 
  • Energy Star Washers 
  • Radiant Barriers 
  • Energy Star Room Air Conditioners  
  • Appliance Recycling 
  • Whole House/Solar Attic Fans 
  • Sunscreens

To be eligible for rebates, applications (including proof of purchase) must be received within 6 months. In addition, TID offers a New Residential Construction Rebate Program for $500, encouraging builders to adopt energy efficiency measures.  For program guidelines and additional information, visit the website listed above.
