The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Solar Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. Amount:Home Performance Program: up to $5,000
Multi-Family Housing Program: $500 for 10% energy savings plus $40 for each additional percentage
Central A/C and/or Heat Pump: $400 - $1,100
Attic Insulation: up to $1,500
Wall Insulation: up to $1,000
Crawlspace Insulation: up to $500
Heat Pump water Heater: $650
Domestic Water Heater: $150
Windows: up to $1,000
Duct Sealing: $250
Duct Replacement: up to $500
Air Sealing: up to $400
Pool Pumps: $250 - $400 Room Air Conditioner: $50

Summary:

Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) offers incentives for its residential customers to purchase and install energy efficient equipment and measures for the homes. Rebate charts of eligible products and equipment are available on the SMUD program web site listed above. Equipment requirements may be found on the rebate chart and must be met by all participating customers. The Home Performance Program requires that a home energy evaluation be performed to determine the most effective efficiency measures to utilize. Contact SMUD for more information on individual equipment rebates or comprehensive measures.
