The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. PC Power Management: $15 per licensed PC
Energy Management Systems Assistance: $0.05/kWh saved annually
Lighting: $0.06 - $0.10/kWh reduced
Motors: $35 - $70; over 10 HP contact utility for rebate information
New Construction/Major Retrofits: $0.05/kWh reduced
Insulation: $0.05 - $0.10/kWh

Installation Requirements:Rebates are based on product cost only. Labor, additional parts, and tax are excluded. The level of incentive is based on size and or efficiency of the qualified product. Rebate amount cannot exceed the purchase price of the new product.
Expiration Date:Rebates must be submitted within 90 days of purchase to qualify.

Summary:

Riverside Public Utilities (RPU) offers a wide variety of rebates to commercial customers who wish to increase the efficiency of eligible facilities. Rebates are provided for

  • HVAC equipment
  • PC Management Systems
  • Lighting 
  • Motors 
  • ENERGY STAR® rated appliances

The maximum combined incentive for all rebates is $25,000 per customer account per year, with the rebate being no more than 25% of the equipment cost.

In addition to financial incentive programs, commercial customers may be eligible to participate in the Energy and Water Technical Assistance Program. This program provides customizable services to help businesses identify, track, and analyze energy saving opportunities.
