Summary:

Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) offers rebates to residential customers on a wide variety of energy efficient technologies, including:

Clothes Washers
Refrigerators
Lighting Fixtures
Ceiling/Attic/Roof Fans
Central/Room A/C
Heat Pumps
Programmable Thermostat

Customers who purchase equipment from retailers located in Pasadena receive a larger rebate amount. In addition, residential customers are also eligible to receive bonus rebates by participating in the Green Power Program, which supports the use of clean renewable energy sources that eliminate greenhouse gas emissions.

PWP also offers rebates for the purchase of shade trees that provide energy saving benefits. Customers may purchase and plant up to 10 trees per year to provide homes with shade, increasing cooling efficiency.
