Incentive Amount:Refrigerator: $65
Recycling Old Refrigerator/Freezer: $35
Variable/Multi-Speed Pool Pump and Motor: $300/unit
Low E – Dual Pane Windows: $1.00 per sq ft
Room Air Conditioner: $50 per unit
Central Air Conditioner or Central Heat Pump: $100 per unit
Clothes Washer: $300
Maximum Incentive:Pool Pump: $300 (1 unit)
Eligible System Size:Recycled refrigerators must be at least 10 cu. ft. and less than 25 cu. ft.
Equipment Requirements:Must be Energy Star rated unless otherwise noted
Refrigerator: Minimum 15 cu ft.
Clothes Washer: Only purchases after 7/1/08 qualify; must have a water factor of 4.0 or less
Windows: Must have a SHGC of .40 or less and a U-factor of 0.40 or less
Central Air Conditioner or Heat Pump: Minimum 14 SEER
Expiration Date:when program funds are depleted
Project Review/Certification:Installations may potentially be subject to LADWP verification

Summary:
 
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power offers a variety of rebates for energy efficient equipment used in homes through their Consumer Rebate Program. Rebates are available for qualifying refrigerators, room air conditioners, windows, pool pumps and motors, central air conditioning systems, and clothes washers. All applications must be postmarked within 12 months of purchase date to be considered eligible for a rebate. Fill out application after purchase and installation of equipment. Include, with your application, an original proof of purchase such as an invoice or receipt. Funding is limited and rebates are not guaranteed. Rebate Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
