The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Maximum Incentive:Energy Efficient Home Improvement Rebate Program: Maximum total rebate in a 12-month period is $500 per customer service address, PLUS, an additional $250 allowance for air duct repair, or an additional $800 allowance for air duct replacement, if eligible.
Equipment Requirements:All appliances must be Energy Star rated and purchased from Lodi retailers listed on the program web site.
Shade screen/window tinting must block at least 70% of the solar heat gain or sun's rays and must cover (at a minimum) west and south facing windows.
Heat Pump: HSPF 8.5 (Split System) or 8.2 (Package Unit)
HVAC Replacement: SEER 15 (HVAC unit); SEER 13 (Rooftop unit)

Lodi Electric Utility (LEU) offers several residential energy efficiency programs, including the Appliance Rebate Program and the Home Improvement Rebate Program. Through the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Rebate Program customers are eligible for rebates for qualifying measures including:

  • Attic/Wall insulation 
  • Whole house fans 
  • Shade screen/Window tinting  
  • HVAC replacement 
  • Air-duct replacement/repairs 
  • Heat pumps
  • Variable Speed Pool Pump

Maximum rebate amount per customer in one year is capped at $500, unless the customer is eligible for duct repair or replacement, which are capped separately at $250 and $800 respectively.

In addition, LEU provides rebates for qualifying Energy Star-rated refrigerators, clothes washers, and dishwashers through the Appliance Rebate Program. The appliances must be purchased from one of the pre-approved Lodi retailers listed on the web site.
