The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Applicable Sectors: Commercial, Residential, General Public/Consumer
Amount:PV and Wind (10 kW or less): $1.00/W-DC
PV and Wind (larger than 10 kW): PBI may be awarded on a competitive basis
Solar Water Heating: $0.75/kWh first year savings
Maximum Incentive:PV and Wind: $10,000 or 40% of cost, whichever is less
Equipment Requirements:All solar water heating systems must be OG-300 rated by the National Solar Rating and Certification Corporation.

Duncan Valley Electric Cooperative is providing rebates to for the purchase of renewable energy systems through its SunWatts program. Photovoltaic (PV) and wind energy systems 10 kilowatts (kW) or less can receive an upfront rebate of $1.00 per watt, up to 40% of the system's cost. Solar water heating systems can receive a rebate of $0.75 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) of estimated energy savings in the first year. PV and wind systems larger than 10 kW and other renewable energy types may be eligible for a performance-based incentive awarded on a competitive basis.
