Summary:
UniSource Energy Services (UES) offers rebates to gas customers for the purchase and installation of energy efficient equipment and measures. UES provides rebates towards the purchase of qualifying high-efficiency natural gas furnaces, water heaters, insulation and air sealing. Additionally, energy efficient new homes utilizing gas heating are available for a builder rebate of $400. All equipment and measures must fully comply with UES guidelines and standards. Customers may qualify for incentives after scheduling an initial energy analysis of the residence. A participating contractor can provide a full energy report with recommendations for increasing the energy efficiency of the home. This will assist customers in determining estimated costs and savings associated with making needed upgrades. The contractor will then provide a written proposal for qualifying measures. The proposal is obligation free and utility incentives are available through all participating contractors. Contact UES for additional information on this program.
