The U.S. Department of Energy and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center are excited to announce that a new, modernized DSIRE is under construction. The new version of DSIRE will offer significant improvements over the current version, including expanded data accessibility and an array of new tools for site users. The new DSIRE site will be available in December 2014. Staff are currently working hard on the new version of DSIRE but are also maintaining the content of the current version of DSIRE. Eligible Efficiency Technologies: Refrigerators, Equipment Insulation, Lighting, Heat pumps, Central Air conditioners, Duct/Air sealing, Building Insulation, Custom/Others pending approval, Room Air Conditioners, Attic Insulation, CFLs, Hot Water Pipe and Tank Insulation, Home Energy Survey, Heat Pump/AC Tune-up, Heat Pump Water Heaters, Room Air Conditioners
Applicable Sectors: Residential, Installer/Contractor, Multi-Family Residential (4 units or less), Small Commercial
Amount:$175 incentive toward the cost of a high-performance AC tune-up of a system size 5 tons or less
$200 incentive toward the cost of a high-performance AC tune-up of a system size over 5 tons
Tier 1 Home Energy Survey
--- Survey $75 discount
--- Bonus: up to $75 sent to customer after installing 2 or more recommended measures
--- Survey participants will also receive at no cost up to 6 CFLs, an advanced power strip, and if the participant has electric hot water heating, low flow faucet aerators and shower head, water heater pipe insulation, and water heater tank insulation
Tier 2 Home Energy Assessment
--- $300 discount on the Assessment
--- Bonus: up to $200 sent to customer after installing 2 or more recommended measures
--- Assessment participants will also receive at no cost up to 6 CFLs, an advanced power strip, and if the participant has electric hot water heating, low flow faucet aerators and shower head, water heater pipe insulation, and water heater tank insulation
--- Participant may be eligible for a $200 or $300 incentive bonus after installation of 3 or more measures
Ceiling insulation
--- Incentive of up to $0.23 per square foot of insulation installed
--- Bonus of up to $0.22 per square foot additional when air sealing is performed in conjunction with insulation
Air Sealing
--- Incentive of $0.20 per CFM50 reduction
Duct Sealing
--- Incentive of $0.35 per cooling kWh reduction
AC or Heat Pump Replacement
--- Incentive of up to $593 for air conditioner or $809 for heat pump replacements that meet program efficiency requirements
--- If duct sealing is performed in conjunction with unit replacement, the incentive for the unit is doubled
--- Incentive of $150 for installing an air handler with an ECM (electronically commutated motor)
$1 - $12 off Energy Star qualified Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs at participating retail locations
$3- $8 off Energy Star Qualified LEDs at participating retail locations
$10- $15 off Energy Star qualified Compact Fluorescent Fixtures and LED Fixtures at participating retail locations
$25 mail-in rebate on Energy Star qualified Room Air Conditionars
$15 off qualified Advanced Power Strips at participating online retail locations
$350 mail-in rebate for GE GeoSpring heat pump water heaters
$75 mail-in rebate for Energy Star qualified refrigerators

Summary:
Entergy Arkansas offers the Home Energy Solutions Program to help residential customers understand and make energy efficiency improvements in participating homes. Customers can call a toll-free number to reach an energy efficiency solutions representative who can direct the customer to the best energy efficiency solution based on the customer’s need.
 
Entergy Arkansas also offers the CoolSaver A/C tune-up program to residential and small commercial customers in order to help them improve and verify the condition of their AC or heat pump units. During the tune-up all components of the system receive a thorough cleaning, and the airflow and refrigerant are adjusted to manufacturer specifications.  Customers can call the toll-free number to reach an energy efficiency solutions representative who can direct the customer to the best energy efficiency solution based on the customer’s need.
 
A number of lighting, appliance, and advanced power strip discounts and rebates are available to residential customers of Entergy Arkansas.  Customers must either purchase qualifying items at one of many participating retailer locations, or shop on Entergy’s online marketplace in order to receive instant rebatesdiscounts.  Measures eligible under this program include compact fluorescent light bulbs, compact fluorescent light fixtures, LED bulbs and fixtures, refrigerators, heat pump water heaters, and room AC units. Additionally, energy- saving measures are available for free, direct installation in manufactured homes and multifamily properties.
