Summary:
Empire District Electric Company (EDEC) offers rebates to residential customers for energy audits, weatherization measures, central air conditioning systems, and energy efficient home appliances. Eligible air conditioning systems are eligible for rebates between $400 and $500. Energy audits and weatherization incentives vary based upon the cost of upgrades. EDEC and other utilities participating in the Arkansas Weatherization Program will cover a significant portion of energy audit and implementation costs.
