Summary:
Petit Jean Electric Cooperative is a member-owned rural electric cooperative that serves customers in the Clinton and Marshall areas. To encourage energy efficiency in homes and businesses, Petit Jean Electric offers the Energy Resources Conservation (ERC) Loan Program. This low-interest loan is available to single-family homes, multi-family homes, and businesses for upgrades to heat pumps, air conditioners, water heaters, building insulation, windows, doors and other appliances and building envelope improvements.
To apply for the ERC loan, customers should contact the nearest Petit Jean Electric office. The application form can be found on the program website. Customers can borrow up to the amounts set forth above; for loan requests greater than $10,000, Petit Jean Electric may grant the loan after a more detailed review of the application. No work that will be paid with the loan funds should be completed before the loan has been granted by Petit Jean Electric.
