Summary:
Dixie Electric Cooperative, a Touchstone Electric Cooperative, offers the The Energy Resources Conservation (ERC) loan to its residential customers to buy a new energy efficient heat pump or improve the efficiency of an existing heat pump. The program allows a maximum loan of $5,000 at a 5% interest rate. Funds can be used for improvements, upgrades, gas to electric conversions, or installation of a heat pump system. The payments for the loan are added to the customers' monthly utility bill and can be spread over a maximum of 60 months.
