Summary:
 
Cherokee Electric Coop offers the Cherokee Advantage Programs for their residential customers to borrow money for making energy efficiency improvements to their homes.  
 
In association with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), the Energy Right program offers loans for residential customers to purchase energy efficient heat pumps. Payments are conveniently added to the monthly power bill.  
 
The Energy Conservation Home Improvement Loan is handled through certified contractors. Homeowners can borrow funds at competitive rates for various energy efficiency-related home improvement projects. Energy efficiency measures that can be financed include: Electric heat pumps, air conditioners, electric water heaters, window/door replacements, and insulation upgrades. Interested customers should contact the cooperative for more program details and a list of approved contractors.
